Your planning inputs

Calculate a budget from your own assumptions

Nothing is saved from this calculator. Enter your own monthly income, existing commitments, and financing assumptions to create a temporary planning estimate in this browser session.

Use income available for household commitments after deductions.

This editable planning assumption is not a lender quote.

The estimate uses a 32% to 42.5% comfort band for monthly EMI after existing EMIs, with a separate 50% stretch ceiling. It reverses the standard EMI formula using the interest rate and tenure you enter. It is planning context, not lender approval or a property quote.

Frequently asked questions

Why are there two budget numbers instead of one?

The recommended number reflects a more comfortable EMI burden. The upper estimate shows how far the ceiling can stretch before the budget starts becoming aggressive.

Can I use this for NRI planning?

Yes. The tool includes an NRI path and keeps the assumptions editable so the result remains a planning estimate instead of pretending to be a sanction letter.

Do these numbers guarantee lender approval?

No. Banks still underwrite using credit profile, liabilities, documentation, income structure, and lender-specific policies.

How can I continue researching projects?

The tool links to a small set of published BestProp project pages. It does not match or rank them to your budget, and it does not report current availability or prices.
